Dead Air Armament is a prominent American manufacturer of firearm suppressors (silencers) and muzzle devices. Founded in 2014 by industry veterans from SilencerCo, the company is highly regarded for its "no-compromise" approach to durability and performance. They are best known for their KeyMo quick-detach mounting system, which has become an industry-wide standard, and their rugged suppressor lines like the Sandman (rifle) and Mask (rimfire).

Dead Air Armament was established in 2014 by co-founders Mike Pappas (a co-founder of SilencerCo) and Todd Magee. The company quickly earned a reputation for building some of the most durable and reliable silencers on the market, backed by a "no questions asked" lifetime warranty. Their design philosophy focuses on robust construction and practical, user-focused features rather than chasing the absolute lightest weight or smallest size.

The company's single most significant contribution to the industry is the KeyMo quick-detach (QD) mounting system. This system (consisting of a muzzle brake or flash hider and a corresponding adapter in the suppressor) is celebrated for its ease of one-handed use, exceptional repeatability (returning the firearm to zero), and a taper-lock design that prevents the suppressor from getting "carbon locked" onto the muzzle device. The KeyMo system became so popular that Dead Air now sells adapters allowing competing suppressors to use their mounts.
